Yes! We use commercial glazes that are food safe. If we have an designs that aren’t food safe, we are sure to specify in the product description.
Yes! All of our piees use clay bodies and glazes that are microwave safe. We have a couple designs that use gold or silver and those are not microwave safe and that will be explicitly noted in the prouct description.
Yes! All of our pieces use clay and glaze that are dishwasher safe. When possible, we recommend hand washing, especially if your piece has gold or silver.

Yes! We specifically choose glazes and clay bodies that are lead-free.
Each of our pieces are hand made one at a time. Naturally there is slight variation in size and shape. The final color of ceramic pieces has a lot to do with what temperature the piece reached and the airflow during the firing process. Two pieces with the exact same glaze, but placed in different parts of the kiln, can come out looking slightly different. One of the wonders (and sometimes frustrations) of pottery!
We are constantly making pieces to refill stock. If there is a piece that is out of stock, you can order it and we make it and have it sent to you typically in 4-6 weeks.

We carefully package and ship your order 24-72 hours after its been purchased. Items pre-ordered or out of stock items will be shipped as soon as the pieces are made. You will be kept up to date on the process if you pre order a product.
We do not regularly offer free shipping, but keep an eye out for special deals throughout the year ;)
We do our best to accommodate international customers and ship all around the world. If you are an international customer and place an order that we are then not able to ship, we will give you a full refund.
If your order arrives damaged, please take a photo and send to us at info@villaceramicsdesigns.com. If your order is incorrect or incomplete, you can contact us at the same email from above.
Our studio is located in Orem, Utah. When checking out, you can select “local pick up”. This will cause your shipping charge to be free. It is then your responsibility to come to the studio during our open hours to pick up your product.

E-gift cards are like normal gift cards, but you rather than have a physical card, the buyer will be emailed a code that can be used for the amount purchased. In that same confirmation email, you will have the ability to print off a gift card that has the code on it so that you can gift a physical card if you choose.
E-gift cards are easy to redeem. After you have put all your items in your shopping cart and are checking out, you will have the ability to add a gift card code. Enter the code you received in your confirmation email (or on the printed physical card) and this will redeem the value of your e-gift card on the purchase price of your order.
Unfortunately, not at this time.

Seconds are pieces that are 100% safe and functional, but have minor blemishes or differences so we don’t sell them at their normal price. We do our best to show photos of what makes a piece a “second” so that you are aware.
All sales on “seconds” are final and there are no returns.
